Dr. Miriam Záhorcová focuses on the treatment of glaucoma and performs LI (laser iridotomy), but also focuses on the treatment of cataract and performs YAG (YAG capsulotomy). In the area of refractive errors, she focuses on diagnostics and performs laser surgeries with the methods ReLEx SMILE and femtoLASIK, RAINDROP. She also focuses on the diagnostics of ophthalmic disorders with the help of USG (ultrasound).
Education and practice:
Dr. Miriam Záhorcová and Dr. Adriana Smorádková are the first Slovak physicians, who performed an ophthalmic surgery with the help of a femtosecond laser. She is a member of the Slovak Medical Association and the Slovak Ophthalmologic Society.
